You may choose the default splash screen or specify a bitmap file. If you specify a splash screen bitmap you will need to include the bitmap file in your installation and it must be in the same folder as your application or the Instant Protection PLUS 3 DLL. View the Instant Protection PLUS 3 manual's deployment topics for more information. The bitmap may be any size. Any color of 255,0,255 (purple) in the bitmap will be transparent.
You may choose to display the version number of the application on the splash screen as well as it's placement. In addition you may also select how much of the version number to display. You may display only the major version number, the major.minor, the major.minor.revision, or major.minor.revision.build.
